Executive Summary:
BDPA's 2011 Regional Conference in the Washington, D.C. area is a venue for your Host Chapter's annual community Industry Day and Awards Luncheon, Regional High School Computer Competition (HSCC), IT Showcase (ITSC), and Advanced Program Briefing for Interns (APBi). This year, our panelists and presenters will address industry challenges and opportunities in Cyber Security, mobility, and new wireless technologies. BDPA Regional Chapters
NBDPA's mission is to bridge cyber security, information technology (IT) and telecommunications competency gaps in urban and underserved communities. Local BDPA chapter goals in the National Capital Region (NCR) are to provide technology and CS-STEM training programs with educational outreach services for area professionals and students in any industry. BDPA Chapters also work with industry partners to develop workforce pipelines in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area in direct support of CS-STEM initiatives, federal agency staffing goals, or ICT industry requirements.
